BACKGROUND:

A major cause of our infrastructure deficit in Nigeria particularly and Africa in general is the LACK OF ACCESS TO THE EQUIPMENT required to execute the works. When some equipment are available there are hardly adequate in terms of condition and fit for purpose use. The result of the above is that we spend a lot of time ‘managing’ whatever we can find and spend more time repairing these equipment.

So a certain amount of MONEY say X is spent executing works in Y TIME. IMAGINE what could happen to our infrastructure stock if the works could be executed with at least ½ X MONEY in ⅓ TIME: (Half the MONEY and one third the TIME)

Building our infrastructure the way we currently do means that we SPEND MORE TO GET LESS and in TWICE or THREE TIMES the time! So it is no MYSTERY why the infrastructures of our Nations are inadequate and makes budgeting a nightmare for INDIVIDUALS, ORGANISATIONS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES not to mention allegations of incompetence, lack of capacity or even corruption that trail projects that take almost forever to build and at some.
